About the Role

As a Field Service Representative, you will provide on-site support for BD customers, including installation, corrective and preventative maintenance, and other support for robotized systems used in pharmacies. You will troubleshoot issues to resolve root causes and identify solutions, focusing on improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for installation, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and removals of robotized systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues to resolve root cause and identify possible solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites and provide technical support, repairs, and maintenance on medical device robotic systems.
  • Train and support clients in the maintenance of robotic systems.
  • Update equipment and software.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and write service reports in accordance with internal standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of departmental practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be available for up to 60% travel, both locally and overnight, as required.
  • Must be available to travel to the USA for trainings for 1-2 weeks as required.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a past clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Meet BD's auto safety standards.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
  • Able to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Requires considerable pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.
  • Flexibility for rotational schedules (weekends).

Experience Level

  • Two (2) plus years experience in a field service role
  • Two (2) plus years experience in a similar position related to automation and technical service

Education Level

  • DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering, industrial mechanics, automation or relevant training

Salary/Compensations

  • $28.85 - $52.89 CAD Hourly
