About the Role

Warehouse Associates are skilled individuals who masterfully organize warehouse operations, including receiving and moving materials and products. Kamco believes in conducting business with integrity and aims to be the Company of Choice for customers and employees within the building products industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse.
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials.
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and ensure an orderly warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications and create suitable skids/pallets.
• Operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Maintain the warehouse appearance in a safe and orderly manner.
• Conform to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.
• Verify truck loads.
• Support company values in Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity, and being a Company of Choice.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• Must be able to work 40 to 50 hours per week.
• Able to work outdoors - varying shifts.
• Maintain a basic knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs.
