About the Role
Partner with Sales teams to engage senior finance leaders, helping them reimagine and modernise their Finance function across FP&A, Financial Close, and Reporting. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Sales, supporting enterprise sales of an AI-enabled finance transformation platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions with customers to understand their finance challenges, processes, and goals.
- Translate business needs into compelling solution narratives and tailored proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Deliver engaging product demos to senior finance stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Support the full sales cycle—from early qualification through to deal close—as a trusted finance advisor.
- Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, and ITTs with clear, value-driven responses.
- Continuously refine and enhance demo assets to reflect evolving customer needs and product capabilities.
- Provide feedback from the field to Product and Services teams to help shape roadmap and delivery.
- Partner with Marketing on events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in industry finance (e.g., FP&A, Financial Close, Reporting, Group/Divisional Finance).
- Experience in finance transformation or consulting engagements.
- Strong understanding of finance operating models, including planning cycles, close processes, and business partnering.
- Hands-on experience with EPM/CPM systems (implementation, usage, or pre-sales exposure).
- Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA or equivalent, fully or part-qualified).
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders using value-led storytelling.
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex finance concepts.
- Structured, analytical, and consultative approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Services, and Partners.
- Understanding of emerging finance technologies, including AI-driven capabilities such as predictive forecasting.
- Experience in operating model design, process improvement, or transformation roadmaps (Nice to Have).
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Qlik (Nice to Have).
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integration concepts (Nice to Have).
