About the Role

The Store Manager role is part of Wolt Market, Wolt's own grocery stores, focused on delivering convenience and customer experience. This position plays a key part in the growth of Wolt Market in Germany, offering a unique opportunity to influence city operations and contribute to the future of grocery shopping.

Responsibilities

• Guide, coach, and develop Shift Leads.
• Ensure Shift Leads have the necessary knowledge and tools for smooth day-to-day operations, including freshness, inventory, and stock management.
• Hire, train, provide daily feedback, and conduct bi-annual 1v1s for individual growth, performance review, and goal setting.
• Lead, grow, and motivate the team, creating a positive work environment.
• Plan team events a couple of times a year.
• Consistently improve store operations in collaboration with the Operations Team.
• Ensure fast delivery and fluent operations.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Collaborate with other Wolt functions to ensure a good product selection.
• Monitor shrink levels and control food waste.
• Manage shift scheduling.
• Handle incoming goods and store orders.
• Oversee store and colleague needs to enable fast growth, including supplies and IT equipment.

Requirements

• Leadership experience and demonstrated ability to motivate others.
• Experience working in a grocery store is a plus.
• Ability to learn fast and multitask.
• Proactive and service-minded.
• Can-do attitude and enjoyment of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Data-driven and analytical with the ability to use data for improvement.
• Fluent level of English.
• German is considered a plus.
