About the Role
As an individual contributor in the Analytics Engineering team, you will work across various projects to optimize the Data Warehouse and BI platform. You will focus on building robust data pipelines, improving data quality, and reducing cloud costs while collaborating with multi-disciplinary squads to support decision-making, financial reconciliation, and data science initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build robust pipelines and data models downstream of backend services in BigQuery
- Support internal reporting, machine learning, and financial/regulatory use cases
- Optimize the Data Warehouse to reduce complexity and cloud costs
- Define and manage best practices for payload design, logical data modeling, and testing standards
- Monitor and improve data quality within the warehouse
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to maintain high standards
Requirements
- Experience with data modeling, ETL projects, and Big Data
- Confidence in SQL and data modeling
- Familiarity with general Data Warehousing concepts
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a growing team environment
