About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a Project Engineer for Landscape and Environmental Planning to join our Environment team. This role is part of our global Resilience business, focusing on protecting natural environments and water resources, and making communities and businesses more sustainable and resilient to challenges like climate change and urbanization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of environmental planning documents (e.g., landscape impact assessments, environmental impact reports, Natura 2000, species protection) for infrastructure projects such as energy lines or industrial plants.
• Quality assurance of environmental planning documents.
• Support and advise clients on environmental planning matters.
• Develop towards technical and economic project management.

Requirements

• Share a passion for improving quality of life and customer satisfaction.
• Take pride in transforming the world and understand the importance of teamwork.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma in Landscape/Environmental Planning, or a natural/geoscientific degree or comparable qualification.
• Ideally, initial practical experience in the mentioned tasks through internships or similar.
• Preferably, knowledge of nature conservation and environmental law.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Experience in applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Goal-oriented and independent work style, teamwork skills.
• Class B driver's license is desirable.
