About the Role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in leading the team in a fast-paced retail environment to deliver an unbeatable client experience. This role is an opportunity to bring your passion, share your knowledge, and make your mark at a leading global beauty retailer.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize and exploit data to support operational decisions and develop strategies for business growth and sales conversion.
  • Drive a selling culture within the team to meet KPIs, promote Sephora's values, and motivate the team.
  • Consistently raise performance and capability of the team to support developing internal talent.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mentality within the team.
  • Energize the team to deliver first-class customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead the store to success by thinking creatively and working strategically.
  • Support and lead the team to provide client-centric service that results in meaningful in-store experiences.
  • Assist in managing the profit and loss of the store by monitoring shrinkage, sales conversion, and forecasting sales.
  • Drive operational incentives including brand events, training, and supporting visual merchandising changes.
  • Maintain a strong and positive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed.
  • Monitor KPIs and help develop store talent.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in retail/store line management.
  • Previous retail management experience at a big box retailer or multi-site experience.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to be on the sales floor.
  • Ability to attract, identify, and inspire talented employees.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and ability to influence team members.
  • Flexible work schedule with availability for weekends, before/after store hours, and evenings.
  • Ability to provide 5 full days of availability across key trading times, including late-night and weekend availability.
