About the Role

The IT Digital Application Senior Analyst Cancer Services acts as a key support and primary expert for their assigned applications. This role involves project work, maintenance, incident resolution, change requests, testing, upgrades, and change control activities. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with management to set priorities, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships between IT and application users, acting as a liaison with other departments and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with subject matter experts and other Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management to ensure build consistency and successful end to end patient centric workflow.
  • Identifies and resolves production issues, including identifying appropriate parties and potential solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Provides support to team members and serves as the initial point of contact for their assigned team.
  • Participates in planning, obtaining customer input, and projecting resource requirements.
  • Reviews system requirements with customers and translates requirements into specific functions or deliverables.
  • Works with all clinical, business, and technical resources in a positive, supportive, and collaborative team manner.
  • Carries out analysis of process workflows, data collection, and reporting requirements, interpreting into design where necessary.
  • Analyses flow chart processes and recommends ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently certified in Beacon EPIC application.
  • Extensive experience in information technology dealing with applications development and support, or end user training, or equivalent experience in an operational or financial role.
  • Experience with Epic modules, ancillary systems, and health system operations.
  • Experience supporting a major system in a clinical or system analyst capacity.
  • Experience working within an agile environment.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or foundation degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
  • Any other IT professional certification (ITIL, Prince 2, etc) (Preferred).
  • This role may be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
