About the Role

We are establishing our first engineering and product hub in London and are hiring our first Senior Engineering Lead to partner directly with our first London-based Staff Product Manager. Together, you will be the founding leadership team building this hub from the ground up. This role offers direct engineering impact through proximity to strategically important Key Accounts and high-velocity, cross-functional collaboration with senior operational and commercial leadership.

Responsibilities

Build, lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Own and maintain the team's technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Work directly with business stakeholders to understand needs, provide technical guidance, and translate requirements into actionable work.
Manage relationships and technical work with third-party service providers and consultants.
Guide the team in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integrations between systems.
Support the personal and professional growth of team members.
Take responsibility for the team's delivery, technical quality, and schedule.

Requirements

Proven experience as a solution architect or senior engineer, designing and building integrations between complex systems.
Previous experience managing an engineering team and supporting/growing reports.
Ability to work independently and create a feeling of belonging in a remotely distributed team.
Comfortable working closely with non-technical business stakeholders to define roadmaps and priorities.
Hands-on experience with integration technologies and patterns.
Experience managing technical projects involving third-party vendors.
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset, thriving in fast-paced start-up like teams.
Experience with Java/Spring Boot or similar is a significant advantage.
Comfortable with a degree of product ownership, including managing a roadmap and making prioritization decisions within a given budget.
