About the Role

As a Test Engineering Manager within FirstChoice Technology, you will lead a diverse team of testing professionals to develop and manage effective test strategies and approaches, covering all functional and non-functional test types to support the CFS FirstChoice platform and Fund Services businesses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tech, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to deliver value through effective test strategies and automation.
• Oversee all levels of functional and non-functional testing, including system, system integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure quality test deliverables such as Test Estimates, Test Plans, and Completion reports.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing development for the QA & Test team to foster engagement and cultivate talent.
• Provide leadership in QA practices and techniques and deliver continuous improvements with a focus on AI and automation.
• Enhance test automation frameworks and implement testing enhancements for better quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Exceptional knowledge and experience in test processes.
• Extensive experience managing a large team of testing professionals.
• Strong grasp of testing methods and automation techniques.
• Experience in financial services IT, specifically wealth management and superannuation.
• Excellent people management and leadership abilities.
• Experience in both functional and non-functional testing.
• Quality management experience with a focus on innovation and resource optimisation.
• Full work rights in Australia.
