About the Role

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to analyze learning needs and create engaging training modules in the form of both e-learnings and instructor-led materials. This role also collaborates with subject matter experts to transform existing documentation into engaging interactive e-learnings, leveraging AI tools for speed and innovation. They will develop assessments to measure impact and drive continuous improvement. Fast-paced project management skills and cross-functional teamwork are key as they help shape learning solutions across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct learning-needs analyses to identify skill gaps and performance goals.
  • Define clear, measurable learning objectives and recommend evidence-based delivery methods (e-learning, blended, microlearning, etc.).
  • Apply the ADDIE model to structure all stages of design and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and convert existing materials (e.g. PowerPoints, job aids, process documentation, videos) into interactive e-learnings using Articulate and other software to tight deadlines.
  • Create training modules, templates, and assessments aligned with Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning and accessibility standards.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to streamline scripting, storyboarding, visual design, and content development across projects.
  • Design formative and summative assessments to support learning and measure training effectiveness.
  • Apply the Kirkpatrick Model as part of a continuous improvement process.
  • Integrate AI and automation to streamline content creation, review, and deployment.
  • Recommend up-to-date learning techniques and technologies to enhance learner engagement.
  • Leverage UKGPro LMS to ensure seamless learner experience and reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to produce training content that is accurate, engaging, and results-oriented.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with fast turnaround times while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Provide guidance on learning strategy, technology use, and design best practice across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in instructional design and digital learning development.
  • Portfolio of training developed with Articulate and other supporting software.
  • Proven application of ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
  • Extensive experience of AI-assisted tools for efficiency and innovation in instructional design.
  • Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
