About the Role

The role involves independently designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software components and services.
  • Implement advanced features using established coding standards and architectural patterns.
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute technical initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Apply secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers.
  • Contribute to existing frameworks, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems and IT best practices.
  • English language fluency.
  • Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, or programming languages.
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Experience building high-quality apps or services at an enterprise level.
  • Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies.
  • Experience with web servers, application containers, and caching technologies.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and development.
  • Experience with messaging systems like MQ and JMS.
  • Experience with build tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
