About the Role

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking hands-on individuals to operate multiple robotics platforms and collect high-quality raw data using various methods, including teleoperation via VR headsets and motion capture systems. This role involves contributing to groundbreaking ideas in fields like aerospace, medical devices, and autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Collect data on specific robotic platforms via teleoperation with an Apple Vision Pro headset
• Collect data in a motion capture setup, performing tasks with their own hands
• Perform simple annotations and quality control on collected data
• Write daily reports for the technician and engineering teams

Requirements

• Experience running basic commands on a terminal
• Good attention to detail
• Generally good coordination skills/dexterity
• General strength/health to collect data for a few hours in a row
• Good vision (or can wear contacts) for operating the Vision Pro

Skills

• Software familiarity
• Experience operating robots
• Experience with data collection or annotations
