About the Role

The Development Coordinator, our Corporate Concierge, acts as the Nord Development Group President’s trusted right hand, combining executive assistant, operational backbone, and organizational support. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the center of a fast-moving development firm, learn deal-making processes, and take ownership of critical business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and apportion calendars and scheduling across the team, balancing competing priorities and protecting the President’s time.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, travel, and logistics with internal colleagues, investors, attorneys, brokers, and municipal contacts.
  • Anticipate needs and clear obstacles before they become problems.
  • Handle routine data entry and bookkeeping support with accuracy and care.
  • Prepare monthly American Express reporting — reconciling, categorizing, and flagging items for review.
  • Assist with general expense tracking and basic financial organization.
  • Maintain and continuously update the investor contact list.
  • Execute disciplined monthly outreach to investors, keeping relationships warm and records current.
  • Track correspondence and ensure no relationship goes quiet.
  • Organize, structure, and maintain the firm’s hard-drive and digital filing systems so any document can be found in seconds.
  • Establish and enforce consistent naming, folder, and version conventions.
  • Safeguard sensitive deal, investor, and corporate records.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year prior experience as an executive assistant, chief of staff, office manager, or similar support role.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-obsessed, and trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Comfortable with numbers and basic accounting/reconciliation work.
  • A clear, professional communicator — by phone, email, and in person.
  • Calm and resourceful under pressure; you solve, you don’t escalate unnecessarily.
  • Proactive by nature — you spot what needs doing before being asked.
  • Discreet, loyal, and dependable; this role runs on trust.
