About the Role

We are looking for a smart, culturally attuned bilingual community manager to own the social media voice of a luxury automotive brand. You will be on the front lines of social engagement: managing conversations, building communities, and ensuring the brand is represented authentically, quickly, and in a truly engaging way. It's not enough to reply to comments. You will need to identify opportunities for the brand to join conversations, understanding emerging opinions, and using community insights to shape content and strategies, as well as creating responses that make the audience feel heard. You must know when to be funny, when to help, and when to escalate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day community engagement across multiple social media platforms, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions quickly and expertly using the brand voice.
  • Embody the brand voice and tone on social media in all interactions, adapting to different platforms and contexts while remaining consistent and authentic.
  • Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and relevant conversations. Use community insights to shape content, strategies, and client recommendations.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues, negative sentiment, or crisis situations according to established protocols. Exercise sound judgment on when and how to respond.
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to join trending conversations relevant to current events or respond to cultural moments authentically.
  • Contribute to community performance reports by tracking engagement data, sentiment trends, and notable interactions. Begin surfacing observations and recommendations.
  • Work closely with content creators, strategists, and the social media team to ensure community activities align with the content calendar and social media strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in community management or a social media engagement role, ideally within an agency.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English.
  • Proven ability to write compelling copy that adheres to brand voice across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social listening tools and community management platforms (Sprinklr, Brandwatch, or similar).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing engagement for well-known brands.
  • Understanding of crisis and issue management protocols.
  • Experience with automotive clients is a plus but not essential.
  • A degree will help us understand your background and perspective.
