About the Role
Bare is seeking an individual to build the operating system for its central services model, transforming tacit knowledge into scalable systems, automations, and workflows. This role involves identifying best practices, designing and implementing processes, and leading a team of subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
- Map end-to-end operational processes across Bare, extracting tacit knowledge from subject matter experts and turning it into documented, repeatable systems
- Design and implement workflows, automations, and integrations that remove friction and build consistency across the business
- Identify where AI and automation tools can do the heavy lifting and build those solutions
- Lead a small team of SMEs, acting as the connective tissue between domain expertise and system design
- Work directly in tools (HubSpot, Notion, and others) to understand their functionality and optimize them for specific workflows
- Own the roadmap for operational process improvement across the business
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience, with at least some time spent building operational systems in a scaling business (100–500 people)
- Proven experience building a system that functions independently
- Strong systems thinking and process design skills
- Technical fluency to write integration specs, evaluate tooling, and communicate with engineers
- Comfortable with ambiguity and initiating work without a fully defined brief
- Strong people skills to elicit knowledge from subject matter experts
