About the Role

Shape and evolve Policy products and AI-powered experiences that are central to how brokers and customers navigate lending decisions. This role involves end-to-end product ownership, from discovery and problem definition through to delivery, optimization, and long-term success, working closely with various teams to enhance decisioning, policy, and workflow experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product roadmap, backlog, and strategic direction for Policy initiatives, aligning delivery with customer needs, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead discovery activities to identify the right problems to solve, using customer insights, stakeholder input, data, and domain expertise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lending policy, serviceability, decisioning, broker workflows, and AI-driven experiences across the home loan journey.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, compliance obligations, technical complexity, and delivery risk.
  • Lead discovery, analysis, and solution design for complex Policy domain initiatives from concept through to delivery.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and QA to translate requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Document business processes, system interactions, decision logic, dependencies, and future-state solutions to support successful delivery.
  • Actively contribute to backlog refinement, estimation, testing, implementation, and release activities within cross-functional teams.
  • Measure outcomes through defined success metrics, using data, feedback, and performance insights to continuously optimize products and AI-driven capabilities.
  • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, QA, Operations, Compliance, and Risk to drive alignment, informed decision-making, and successful outcomes.
  • Build trusted stakeholder relationships, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs while championing a strong understanding of the end-to-end home loan journey and broader lending ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven Product Management experience in digital and technology environments, with strong end-to-end ownership across discovery, delivery, and ongoing optimization within Agile teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape product roadmaps, manage backlogs, define priorities, and make informed trade-off decisions in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and customer-centric mindset, using customer insights, business context, domain expertise, and data to drive product decisions and outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical fluency working closely with engineering teams on APIs, integrations, system behavior, data flows, and solution design, supported by experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of lending and home loan processes, with experience defining success metrics and exposure to AI, intelligent automation, or decisioning-based products.
