About the Role

The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating the production and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns for the assigned location, ensuring alignment with corporate and location goals.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing campaigns to address auction and client needs, ensuring Manheim brand alignment and accuracy.
  • Plan and execute marketing tactics within the location including print, displays, and signage.
  • Assist in managing auction social media sites to drive awareness and engage clients.
  • Contribute ideas and insights in the development of a year-long event sale calendar.
  • Track results of all marketing campaigns and make adjustments to future campaigns.
  • Utilize Manheim tools to execute marketing plans including graphic design requests, editable templates, and the company intranet site.
  • Execute necessary sale day preparations and responsibilities, including client engagement, promotion/incentive execution, and giveaway tracking.
  • Travel as required by corporate marketing and auction leadership.
  • Assist with and travel to additional auction locations to help with marketing efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by auction leadership and corporate marketing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience, or 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of marketing and customer service experience required.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required.
  • Effective organizational skills required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and layout/design software (i.e. Adobe) necessary.
  • Strong computer skills and fundamental graphic arts knowledge is essential.
  • Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing work environment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, color and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, walking and reaching may be required.
  • Position requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive vehicles outside or through an auction sale with standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as noise, dust, and fumes in auction lanes.
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana excluded for this position).
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

  • Potential for additional compensation (commission and/or incentive program)
