About the Role
We are seeking internal sales representatives with strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, and a desire to build lasting customer relationships in a transaction and relationship-driven environment. The person in this role will be responsible for selling Dell products and services by phone, online, or email to targeted customer segments, while ensuring a positive customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to grow in a merit-based environment and advance your career toward advanced sales or leadership roles within a Fortune 50 company.
Responsibilities
- Manage small business accounts to increase new buyers and retain and grow existing customers
- Make over 30 outbound calls per day and accumulate over 3 hours of talk time per day, while managing sales opportunities and emails, with the goal of selling to new prospects or evolving current customer products and services
- Provide an exceptional experience to small business customers by advising them on the best technologies to support their business success
- Sell Dell's entire Client portfolio, including desktops, laptops, services, and accessories
- Qualify and identify projects in Enterprise categories such as servers, networking, storage, data protection, and cloud computing
- Continue to learn and develop technical and sales skills to create opportunities for advancement
- Take advantage of flexibility to accumulate volunteer hours for community service and participate in our employee resource groups, which provide a space for individuals with common characteristics or experiences to connect, network, and contribute to the workplace
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 1 to 3 years of general sales experience or customer-facing professional experience
- Ability to effectively use software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Results-oriented team player with strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
