About the Role
Join the Shopping Design team to shape the future of shopping at Amazon. You will contribute to AI-powered developments and integrate advanced capabilities into personalized shopping experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered solutions for a global customer base.
Responsibilities
- Design solutions for complex problems where product strategy is undefined
- Create conceptual sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes
- Collaborate across diverse teams to drive alignment and efficiency
- Develop and improve design patterns, standards, and processes
- Lead brainstorming sessions and present at cross-team reviews
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions
- Work with engineering to incorporate technology capabilities and constraints
- Balance short- and long-term design requirements against technical constraints
Requirements
- 3+ years of UX or interaction designer experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions
- Online portfolio demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design across desktop and mobile
- Experience with prototyping tools such as HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, or Axure
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of mass-market consumer web or mobile product experience preferred
- Experience working directly with developers for design implementation preferred
