About the Role

This role contributes software solutions under guidance across phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The engineer works collaboratively with senior engineers to implement features, write tests, and contribute to operational excellence while developing technical skills and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers software solutions under guidance spanning design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations
• Collaborates closely with senior engineers and seeks guidance on technical decisions
• Writes clean, well-tested code consistent with team standards
• Participates in code reviews and incorporates feedback to improve code quality
• Contributes to operational health by investigating incidents and escalating appropriately
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices under the direction of more senior engineers
• Contribute to infrastructure features and automation under guidance of senior engineers
• Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate as appropriate
• Write automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to improve operational efficiency
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, self-service tooling, and microservices scaffolding
• Learn and apply best practices in cloud engineering, DevOps, and SRE
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions

Requirements

• 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years’ experience in software development or a related field
• Some experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) or container technologies
• Programming and scripting experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
• Exposure to containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
