About the Role

Clearwater at The Arboretum is a premier luxury senior living community in Austin, TX, seeking a PRN Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities while upholding their dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Assist and encourage residents in daily living activities, responding promptly and kindly.
• Follow care plans to ensure proper resident care, including managing oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders.
• Transport residents, assisting with transfers and escorting them to meals, activities, or other transportation needs.
• Perform cleaning, laundry, and other community activities and job duties as required.
• Chart and document information, including incident reports, and communicate any observed changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergency requests.
• Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
• Display a positive and professional image, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a Caregiver or in a related field preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB.
