About the Role

Quantcast is seeking a strategic and hands-on Workplace Planning & Operations Manager to oversee, scale, and optimize our San Francisco headquarters and support remote offices. This role involves managing day-to-day facilities operations, planning for evolving workspace needs, driving efficiency, managing budgets, and cultivating an innovative office culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the San Francisco HQ and 3 other remote offices, ensuring functionality and alignment with company culture.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for building management, external vendors, and contractors, managing SLAs, renewals, and performance.
  • Manage space planning initiatives, occupancy software, and analyze seating utilization data.
  • Manage the HQ workplace budget, including procurement and asset tracking.
  • Implement and monitor facility safety, emergency preparedness, and building security protocols.
  • Manage and optimize Workplace tech stacks, including internal ticketing systems, security/access control systems, and the corporate intranet directory.
  • Partner with the global workplace manager to plan and execute internal company events and culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in workplace services, facilities management, or corporate operations.
  • 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role, ideally within a tech or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of managing office projects, vendor relationships, and budgets.
  • Ability to analyze workplace data and implement long-term improvements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines under pressure.
  • Advanced proficiency with Workplace tech platforms (JIRA, occupancy planning tools, access control systems) and productivity suites (Google Workspace, MS Office).
