About the Role

Lead the deployment of advanced rail signaling solutions, ensuring quality, cost, delivery, and performance commitments are met. Work closely with cross-functional teams, manage technical risks and customer requirements, and functionally lead a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical contractual scope of the project, ensuring customer acceptance of the project solution.
  • Validate technical design choices in collaboration with peers and the Solution Director.
  • Manage the project’s technical risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all technical requirements of the contract are addressed throughout the project lifecycle, with the involvement of all stakeholders and necessary experts.
  • Act as the chairperson of the Project Change Control Board (CCB) to oversee project modifications.
  • Supervise Verification & Validation activities to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific disciplines.
  • Experience or understanding of mechanical/structural engineering with a focus on project deployment throughout its full lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of rail signaling solutions and Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) management.
  • Familiarity with engineering processes, methods, and tools, as well as safety standards and regulations in the rail industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams and manage customer relationships.
  • Leadership experience in functional or hierarchical team management.
  • Analytical and critical thinking to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Decision-making ability to validate technical design choices and manage project scope evolution.
  • Problem-solving ability to address technical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Resilience and adaptability to manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement.
