About the Role

SAIC is seeking a Command Post Exercise (CPX) Planner to support USPACOM in orchestrating the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) planning and execution of designated Command-Post Exercises (CPX). This role involves supporting organizations within USPACOM, developing exercise control training briefs, performing Senior Control functions, and ensuring coordination with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support organizations within USPACOM in the planning and execution of Tier 1 Multi-Combatant Command Command-Post Exercises.
• Develop exercise control training briefs, exercise planning milestones with associated deliverables, and exercise planning work group organizational requirements for all planning events.
• Perform Senior Control functions for the Exercise Control Group (ECG) during CPX execution.
• Ensure coordination with staff and other organizations to support the ECG with proper personnel during planning and execution.
• Lead exercise work group planning meetings with all stakeholders and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) with senior leaders.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient protocols, processes, and procedures in support of exercise planning and execution.
• Maintain appropriate OPSEC conditions at multiple levels of classification.
• Maintain associated exercise information data sites and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to designated exercises.
• Leverage appropriate tools in support of the JELC such as Task Management System (TMS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), Joint Training Tool (JTT) and other related databases or systems.

Requirements

• International travel up to 20% of the year may be required to support the planning and execution of designated exercises.
