About the Role
Spectrum is building the next generation of AI-powered knowledge management systems for software organizations. We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to develop and enhance the core ML systems that power our product, aiming to revolutionize the semantic layer space.
Responsibilities
- Design and build ML/LLM solutions for data ingestion, knowledge extraction, retrieval, and reasoning.
- Create datasets, metrics, and pipelines to drive system improvements.
- Architect and improve AI agents, including prompt engineering, model selection, and inference optimization.
- Contribute to MLOps practices, such as orchestration, observability, and experiment tracking.
Requirements
- Minimum four years of experience building production ML/AI systems, with hands-on LLM experience.
- Deep understanding of the LLM ecosystem, including model architectures and fine-tuning.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and LLM pipeline design, including evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks like LangGraph, Pydantic AI, or equivalents.
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns and vector databases.
- Experience deploying and scaling LLM-powered applications using APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) or open-source models.
- Strong Python skills; Kotlin knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
