About the Role

The Claims Inside Auto Analyst II is responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for automobile accidents. This role determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within authority. We are seeking an Auto Adjuster to join our Northeastern team. This role will primarily manage claims in New York, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. The ideal candidate will bring prior claims experience and demonstrate the ability to handle claims independently from First Notice of Loss (FNOL) through resolution. The position supports specialty lines of business involving lower policy limits, complex coverage considerations, and potential MMR exposure, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Applies a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
  • Partners to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
  • Exhibits basic understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
  • Handles basic investigation regarding most aspects of auto claims (coverage, liability and damages)
  • Begins recognizing and identifying body parts of a vehicle and other potential property damage
  • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

Requirements

  • Prior claims experience
  • Ability to handle claims independently from First Notice of Loss (FNOL) through resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States, as it is not our practice to sponsor individuals for work visas.
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating.
  • Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

  • Adjuster Trainee: $43,201.60 - $68,848
  • Adjuster Analyst III: $50,000 - $74,350
  • Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 - $86,400
  • Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250
