About the Role

SERVPRO is seeking a Restoration Technician to help homeowners and businesses recover after water damage, fire damage, mold issues, storms, and other property emergencies. This is a hands-on position where no two days are alike and every project presents a new challenge. Our technicians play a critical role in helping customers during some of the most stressful situations they will ever face. Responsibilities

Respond to property damage emergencies and assist with mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial customers.
Perform water extraction and structural drying services.
Assist with fire and smoke cleanup.
Conduct demolition and removal of damaged materials.
Set up and monitor restoration equipment.
Clean and prepare job sites for restoration work.
Load, maintain, and organize equipment and vehicles.
Document job progress through photos and notes.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Follow safety procedures and company standards on every project.

Requirements

Valid driver's license required.
Ability to pass a background check.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying environments.
Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas when necessary.
Ability to work around cleaning products, moisture, dust, and restoration equipment.
