About the Role

Braven is hiring part-time Substitute Leadership Coaches (LCs) to facilitate Braven's Accelerator Learning Labs when there are LC absences. A Substitute LC will lead a two-hour virtual class for a cohort of 5-8 Fellows (college students) using an established curriculum. This role offers experience in teaching and facilitation while positively impacting college students' lives. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate virtual Accelerator Learning Labs as a substitute for absent LCs
  • Prepare to facilitate Braven content by meeting with the Braven team and practicing independently
  • Attend all LC trainings (~6 total training hours) to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Learning Labs and work with Fellows effectively
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with teaching, facilitation, and/or public speaking
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must live in one of our current Braven operating states: GA, IL, CA, NY, NJ
  • Consistently available during at least three of the specified weekly timeslots for virtual Learning Labs
