About the Role

GGRC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers at our San Francisco headquarters. This role involves greeting, assisting, and directing inquiries while managing daily front desk operations.

Responsibilities

  • Open or close the office/Front Desk for business hours.
  • Professionally answer, address, assist, and direct incoming phone calls, voice messages, or inquiries.
  • Courteously greet and assist incoming visitors.
  • Provide basic information regarding GGRC application processes.
  • Create and distribute SF Out-of-office/Officer of the Day notifications.
  • Track and Distribute SF Staff Parking Vouchers.
  • Track and Distribute Temporary Badges.
  • Review and forward incoming faxes from our general fax line.
  • Run visitor reports and assist building security desks with unexpected drop-in visitors.
  • Maintain and organize GGRC reception area/waiting room for cleanliness.
  • Receive or assist with incoming deliveries or packages and out-going delivery or package pick-up.
  • Provide front desk coverage for Board of Director meetings.
  • Serve as phone back-up to other GGRC office front desk staff.
  • Assist with SF Conference or Meeting Room reservations.
  • Assist with visitor registrations as needed.
  • Sort or process daily mail as needed.
  • Hold and distribute various department items for staff as directed.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in an office setting with front desk reception, office assistant, or customer service oriented duties.
