About the Role

Airtable is seeking a Senior Manager to leverage marketing operations as a strategic advantage, integrating AI systems and rigorous data analysis to enhance marketing agility and efficiency. This role involves leading the Marketing's Agent Center of Excellence, managing MarTech and Marketing Ops teams, and driving high-impact initiatives that span multiple functions. The position requires a player-coach approach, combining hands-on AI agent development with team leadership and strategic oversight, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own Marketing's Agent Center of Excellence, driving strategy from tool evaluation to agent development and adoption.
  • Co-design and ship AI agents using platforms like Airtable, Hyperagent, and Claude to automate marketing tasks.
  • Maintain AI agents as production systems with defined ownership, versioning, and measurable outputs.
  • Lead complex AI builds and establish frameworks for AI evaluation, adoption, and governance.
  • Improve AI literacy across the marketing team, distinguishing practical applications from hype.
  • Manage MarTech, Marketing Ops, and Airtable campaign management ICs, providing direction and fostering AI engineering skills.
  • Evolve Marketing Operations (MOPs) to support predictable pipeline and clean lead management using AI agents and automation.
  • Advance Airtable MarketingCentral as an intelligent ops layer for campaign management.
  • Define and govern the martech stack, prioritizing consolidation and AI-native tools.
  • Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives requiring a comprehensive understanding of marketing strategy, operations, and data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and shipping AI agents or automated workflows, with practical application of LLMs.
  • Background in marketing, with expertise in demand generation, lifecycle marketing, campaign/lead operations, and relevant MarTech (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, data modeling, APIs, integrations, and scripting for system development and debugging.
  • Experience leading MOPs or RevOps in a B2B SaaS environment, driving strategic function beyond campaign support.
  • Ability to translate data into executive-level narratives.
  • Experience managing technical individual contributors and providing direction in complex scoping scenarios.
  • A systems-thinking approach to AI adoption, focusing on building infrastructure and workflows for team-wide utility.
  • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with expanding scope based on building capabilities.
