About the Role
Associates play a critical role assisting in all tasks required for the Equity Research Analyst to stay abreast of market events with the end-goal of providing sound investment judgement on particular stocks to clients. Individuals in this role are continuously learning and developing their investment analysis and securities evaluation skills in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with analysts to conduct thorough analysis of the industries and targeted companies
- Participate in due diligence requirements analyzing industry and company data
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Write research reports
- Provide verbal presentations to equity sales/trading personnel and institutional clients
Requirements
- An understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles including financial modelling
- The ability to work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining an imperative attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Willingness to work long hours when necessary to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- An outgoing personality that will fit into a high-performing, team-oriented environment
