About the Role
This role involves producing company, sector, and portfolio-level reports and analysis across listed real estate, working closely with the Head of Europe Real Estate, Portfolio Managers, and Europe REIT Analysts. The position offers significant upside potential.
Responsibilities
- Assist Analysts with macro-level property sector research and individual security analysis.
- Update earnings (FFO) and Net Asset Value models.
- Participate in company meetings and property tours, reporting takeaways and actionable recommendations to the investment research team.
- Update and maintain a proprietary database of analyst estimates and portfolio management reports.
- Coordinate information flow with other departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 2:1 bachelor degree.
- Two to four years of experience in Investment Banking or Equity market experience.
- Concentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred.
- Progress towards the CFA designation is a plus.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Proficiency with the Bloomberg platform.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with precision and urgency.
- Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.
- Basic understanding of security analysis and accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with REITs and drivers of real estate trends is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of AI tools and technologies is preferred.
- Foreign language skills would be beneficial.
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.
- Agrees to comply with the firm’s hybrid work policy, requiring reporting to the London office four (4) days per week, with one (1) remote workday permitted.
