About the Role
Summerhill Market is seeking upbeat, detail-oriented individuals to join their Rosedale Dairy Team. The role involves delighting customers with genuine service and ensuring a well-stocked, fresh, and beautifully presented department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on the sales floor
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product location and recommendations
- Stock, rotate, and replenish dairy products throughout the day
- Monitor product dates and ensure freshness and quality standards are maintained
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing coolers and displays
- Ensure products are properly priced, labelled, and merchandised
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing backroom inventory
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and store standards
- Support other departments as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements
- A positive, customer-first attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organization
- Previous grocery, dairy, or retail experience is an asset
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments
- Ability to lift and carry products and stand for extended periods
