About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Design, this role involves performing various design and drafting activities, including the preparation and updating of project models and drawings, as well as supporting assembly and manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dimensional, installation, and complex plant engineering drawings
- Collaborate with HSE Germany headquarters to revise and update drawings for design consistency
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and customer documentation
- Update drawings for NC manufacturing and assembly floor operations
- Maintain CAD databases, Windchill PLM, and IFS/ERP systems
- Execute projects within team environments to meet customer requirements
- Document design calculations, bills of materials, and design parameters
Requirements
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods with high attention to detail
- Possess or ability to obtain a passport
- Willingness to travel to Germany up to twice per year for training
- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment with necessary remote technology
- Ability to visit customer sites or attend tradeshows as needed
