About the Role

DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Associate to participate in the planning and execution of the migration of data infrastructure from on-premises Hadoop/Cloudera to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning and execution of the migration of data infrastructure from on-premises Hadoop/Cloudera to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Conduct data transformation using Hive and Impala.
  • Leverage Python for data analytics, including data science libraries, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Produce visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau, Python, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub to facilitate cloud migration and data processing.
  • Migrate on-premises big data solutions to GCP.
  • Architect scalable and secure cloud-native data infrastructure.
  • Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using JIRA, Git, BitBucket, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
  • Write BDD test cases using Cucumber and Gherkin language for automated testing.
  • Analyze KYC review (EDR, PR) processes, utilizing SQL, Python (pandas, NumPy), and Apache Spark.
  • Analyze data processing workflows, data warehousing, and data lakes to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Utilize big data tools, including Hadoop (Cloudera), Spark, Kafka, Sqoop, Scala, and Dataproc.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, or related field or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience using Jira for task management, Confluence for documentation, and Git for version control.
  • Experience conducting data transformation using Hive and Impala.
  • Experience leveraging Python for data analytics, including data science libraries, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience producing visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau, Python, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Experience utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub to facilitate cloud migration and data processing.
  • Experience migrating on-premises big data solutions to GCP.
  • Experience architecting scalable and secure cloud-native data infrastructure.
  • Experience implementing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using JIRA, Git, BitBucket, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
