About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our People team. This role will be instrumental in driving our multi-year compensation roadmap, focusing on high-impact, employee-centric initiatives. You will manage key aspects of our compensation spectrum, including job architecture, market pricing, variable pay programs, and the annual planning cycle. Responsibilities
- Drive the development and administration of compensation and job architecture frameworks for internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Manage the full annual compensation planning cycle, including system configuration, UAT, budgeting, execution, and training.
- Partner with the People Team to evaluate roles, guide job placement, and ensure consistent job documentation.
- Build compensation models for salary grades, pay equity analyses, and variable pay targets, translating findings into cost and benefit decisions.
- Serve as the compensation systems expert, managing administration, identifying automation opportunities, and driving efficiency.
- Support the administration of equity programs, including analysis and recommendations for grant decisions and candidate packages.
- Conduct international compensation benchmarking, including research on statutory requirements and market dynamics.
- Apply emerging AI and data analytics trends to modernize compensation processes and improve accuracy.
- Stay current on compensation laws and regulations, ensuring program and practice compliance.
- Share knowledge with junior team members and enhance compensation literacy within the People function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive compensation experience covering base pay, variable pay, and job architecture.
- Advanced Excel skills, including combined functions, pivot tables, queries, and the ability to present analysis clearly.
- Proven experience administering full compensation planning cycles, including system configuration, UAT, reporting, and stakeholder support.
- Hands-on experience with third-party compensation surveys (e.g., Radford/Aon, Culpepper, WTW) and market pricing analyses.
- A consultative approach to building trust and making complex compensation topics accessible.
- Familiarity with pay equity analysis and multi-jurisdictional pay transparency requirements.
- Proficiency with HRIS and compensation platforms (e.g., UKG, Bettercomp, Pequity).
- Experience building enablement resources and training for HR partners and People Leaders.
