About the Role

Cuningham is seeking an emerging professional to join their Minneapolis office to contribute to the design of impactful environments. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across all project phases to support design development, technical documentation, and construction administration within a people-centered practice.

Responsibilities

• Support design solution development from concept through construction.
• Contribute to the design process using sketching, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and computational methods.
• Create presentations, renderings, and visual materials to communicate design concepts.
• Develop project documentation including architectural drawings, technical details, and BIM coordination.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project delivery goals.
• Participate in construction administration, including site observations and field verification.
• Research building materials, products, assemblies, and systems.
• Assist with site studies, massing explorations, programming, and space planning.
• Support regenerative design strategies for built, social, and natural environments.
• Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on curiosity and design excellence.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 0–3 years of professional experience in architecture or a related design field.
• Passion for design, creativity, and improving the human experience.
• Working knowledge of architectural design, construction documentation, and building systems.
• Experience with Revit and BIM workflows.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.
• Interest in sustainable and regenerative design approaches.
