About the Role

Assists Floor & Cocktail Servers in providing exceptional guest service by maintaining tables and ensuring a clean and orderly dining environment. Interacts positively with guests and team members to deliver gracious hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards.
• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
• Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of tables.
• Communicate guest needs to support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
• Deliver and refill water as requested.
• Clear and reset tables, and clean table areas during service.
• Help ensure guest satisfaction through active participation in service.
• Maintain general cleanliness of stations and the entire venue.
• Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
• Properly set up floor and side stations, perform side-work and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure tables and chairs/banquettes are clean and free of debris.
• Set tables with proper settings.
• Wipe down chairs, tables, and banquettes.
• Stock side-stations with prescribed supplies.
• Perform opening and closing side-work as prescribed.
• Participate in marking tables for upcoming courses.
• Report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
• Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions.
• Learn by listening, observing, and sharing knowledge.
• Portray a positive and professional attitude.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Company and its supporting environments.
• Work as part of a team and provide help and support to fellow team members.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
• Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including varying shifts, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

• Previous hospitality experience
• Previous busser experience
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge

Education Level

• Company in-venue busser training
• Food Handling Certificate
