About the Role
EGI seeks experienced professionals for its Power System Operations and Security team, focusing on renewable energy integration, market integration, and system security. Experts will contribute to local and international projects aimed at enhancing the security, sustainability, and economic efficiency of power systems.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and definition of operational principles
- Model definition and validation
- Steady-state analysis (load flow, short circuit calculations etc)
- Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability..)
- Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics
- 2-10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions)
- Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions
- Fluent in English
Skills
- Power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE)
- Knowledge of German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
