About the Role

Structure Tone, part of STO Building Group, is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to manage high-end construction projects in NYC, focusing on quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems throughout the construction management process.
• Manage all assigned project staff and relationships with project owners, tenants, and professional groups.
• Oversee timely and accurate completion of all project management documentation and administrative tasks.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades and coordination.
• Monitor schedules and spending.
• Complete or review project reports for accuracy, providing status and financial reports and project schedules.
• Perform final review of construction projects, including bid reviews, bid procedures, vendor & subcontractor qualifications, final estimates, and labor & materials takeoffs.
• Review subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Approve invoices for payment or negotiate changes.
• Prepare and submit change orders for approval by clients and director of operations.
• Ensure subcontractors are advised of all change orders.
• Prepare all close-out documentation, including warranty information, affidavits, and record drawings.
• Ensure final payments are received from clients and appropriate invoices are paid to subcontractors.

Requirements

• 8-12 years in commercial construction management.
• Heavy Mechanical and or Electrical background preferred.
• Experience with BIM / Navisworks / BIM Glue / Revit or equivalent expected.

• $120,000- $200,000+
• Eligible for discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
