About the Role
Pamela is one of Big Mamma’s newest restaurants in Berlin, seeking an experienced Pizzaiolo to strengthen and shape the pizzeria team. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a growing kitchen, influence standards, and help build consistency, quality, and team culture from an early stage.
Responsibilities
- Manage pizza production during service with consistency and precision
- Prepare, control and work dough according to standards
- Ensure correct fermentation and product quality
- Bake and finish pizzas maintaining high execution standards
- Support the organization of prep and daily operations
- Share know-how and support less experienced team members
- Contribute to maintaining strong operational standards
- Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience as Pizzaiolo in a high-volume or quality-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and oven management
- Confidence running service independently
- Ability to maintain quality under pressure
- Team spirit and willingness to support others’ development
- Reliable, organized and proactive mindset
- Combines technical skills with a strong sense of ownership
