About the Role

We are building a greenfield data platform and seeking an entry-level Data Engineer to join our Automations team. This team focuses on DevOps, AI agent tooling, and test automation to ensure the platform's reliability and rapid iteration. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career to shape a project from its inception.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for a modern data platform.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for data pipelines, transformations, and platform components.
• Contribute to AI agent workflows for automating operational and data tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to establish DevOps patterns and best practices.
• Monitor, debug, and improve platform reliability and observability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with Python and comfort writing scripts for task automation.
• Basic understanding of data engineering concepts (pipelines, transformations, storage).
• Exposure to DevOps tooling such as Git, CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.), or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Curiosity about AI/ML tooling and automation.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Experience with greenfield or 0-to-1 projects is a bonus.
• Prior experience with AI/ML tooling is a plus, not a requirement.
