About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data design, balancing data access optimization with batch loading and resource utilization. You will be responsible for constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts while focusing on enterprise-wide data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Define data architecture standards, policies, and procedures for data elements.
- Apply data content standards to technology projects.
- Conduct business analysis, data acquisition, and access analysis and design.
- Optimize Database Management Systems and develop recovery and load strategies.
- Lead and plan database architectures for enterprise systems.
- Serve as a project leader or subject matter expert on multiple projects.
- Address complex projects requiring cross-functional technical and business knowledge.
- Coach and mentor junior technical staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with large and complex database management systems.
- Expertise in defining and planning database architectures for enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to manage projects of high complexity.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior staff.
