About the Role
Join the Courier Pay & Incentives team to optimize driver pay using advanced analytics and machine learning. You will design incentive programs and develop predictive models to maximize earnings, cost-efficiency, and delivery timeliness within a logistics-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate ML models for courier compensation including dynamic earnings floors and surge mechanisms
- Build features from operational data and design experiments to measure model performance
- Execute causal experimentation at scale using A/B testing, switchback experiments, and geo-based designs
- Apply engineering best practices including clean code, version control, unit testing, and production monitoring
- Translate analytics outputs into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Collaborate with ML Engineers and Operations Research Scientists on cross-functional projects
- Identify opportunities to automate retraining, validation, and evaluation pipelines
- Monitor and maintain predictive performance in live production environments
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building and validating ML models in production
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Strong understanding of supervised ML techniques including regression, classification, and gradient boosting
- Knowledge of time-series modeling
- Solid conceptual grounding in experimental design, offline validation, and marketplace experimentation
- Exposure to ML Ops practices including Git, data pipelines, and model monitoring
