About the Role

ING Mortgages is seeking a professional with an easy-to-work-with, mature, and no-nonsense mentality to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an open and honest communicator, value teamwork, stay aware of industry trends, and be driven by efficient, lean, and high-quality solutions. The team is passionate about data and delivering the best product to service data consumers both within and outside the department.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and operation of a new datastore to support the exchange of ING Mortgages data.
• Administration of IT-Risk & Security controls and participation in audits.
• Identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues using monitoring, test, and alerting tools.
• Automating build and deployment processes.
• Automating and executing test cases.

Requirements

• 8 years or more of data engineering, data quality, data integration patterns, and techniques.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or Kanban.
• Analytical skills (understanding complexity and thinking from the impact point of view, not just solving the problem directly).
• 8 years or more of Java backend development.
• Java (ING TPA) API development.
• Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Linux and scripting.
• Knowledge of controlling IT-Risk and Security Standards in the banking industry.
