About the Role
Act as a key contributor to the Canada and United States Asset Owner Client Service teams within Investor Services, focusing on supporting tactical and strategic governance and project management across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Client Service’s Billing Governance Program, managing millions in aged receivables and quarterly reserves in collaboration with Finance Controllers, Billing, Client Service, Relationship Management, and Canada and Asset Owner Portfolio Leads.
- Serve as an SME for the Billing Governance Program, producing regular reporting, following up with owners, and identifying/escalating issues.
- Lead key risk initiatives for the Canada and US Asset Owner teams through business as usual (BAU) risk/compliance maintenance and monitoring, and project managing issue-specific remediation projects.
- Act as the First Line of Defense (FLOD) representative for the team, maintaining regular governance processes for AML periodic reviews, and serving as the FTTOP Practitioner (SME).
- Participate in various working groups and governance forums related to risk and compliance.
- Oversee client service inputs to Canada Common Reporting Standard (CRS) & FATCA Tax reporting processes to ensure compliance with standards for Canadian Financial Institutions.
- Support projects in various capacities and disciplines, including operating model, people strategy, client-specific remediations, and process improvement.
- Perform business analysis, strategy planning, governance, and ad-hoc project activities as needed.
- Regularly interact with client service teams across the US and Canada, Delivery Partners, Relationship Managers, Business Risk & Compliance teams, Billing, Legal, Tax, and other divisions.
