About the Role

Zynga is seeking a versatile Senior Localization Producer with strong experience in MT/LLM-enabled workflows to join their International Production Team. This role will champion localization and culturalization for assigned games and central projects, driving global localization strategies and objectives, particularly around MT and LLM integrations. The ideal candidate will act as a thought partner to game and central tools teams, solve complex localization problems, and lead the utilization and maintenance of AI-enabled workflows at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Drive AI Integrations: Contribute to MT & AI localization initiatives, shaping roadmaps and coordinating integration, maintenance, and improvements with external partners and internal teams.
  • Innovate Workflows: Identify opportunities to improve localization and LQA quality, efficiency, and scalability through new integrations with MT, LLM-based tools, or automation.
  • Define Global Standards: Lead initiatives to define, track, and uphold Localization/LQA standards and performance KPIs, staying current on industry trends.
  • Champion Culturalization: Ensure development practices incorporate internationalization and a global mindset from the start.
  • Partner with Game Teams & Own the Localization Pipeline: Promote internationalization best practices, manage schedules, language requirements, project planning, translation and LQA execution, and international roadmaps for assigned games.
  • Manage Budgets: Establish, maintain, and track localization budgets at the project level, escalating overspending trends and implementing cost optimization plans.
  • Drive LQA Strategy & Bug Resolution: Own the resolution of localization bugs, track linguistic and internationalization issues, and apply learnings to reduce LQA issues.
  • Optimize Resources: Compile and consolidate localization material to optimize vendor pre-planning and delivery quality, making informed decisions based on workload and scope.
  • Execute Daily Releases: Oversee daily international releases and handle cross-functional tasks with Game Studios and partner teams.
  • Build Trust: Develop strong relationships with game teams, studio leadership, central partners, and translation vendors, influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Manage External Partners: Refine vendor processes, align expectations, set KPIs, and monitor inbound and outbound quality.
  • Mentor & Guide: Train and mentor other Producers, guiding diverse teams as a subject matter expert.
  • Share Insights: Perform market analysis to guide language support and culturalization initiatives, capturing and sharing learnings across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and strong aptitude for AI and technology-driven localization workflows (e.g. MT, LLMs, automation).
  • Extensive knowledge of the globalization industry, including localization, internationalization, LQA, and culturalization.
  • Highly autonomous and solutions-oriented with the ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and competing priorities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences, and collaborate across distributed global teams.
  • Exceptional capability to extract insights from data, simplify complex problems, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Localization Text CMS and TMS tools, bug tracking software, and expert-level skills in spreadsheet and presentation software.
