About the Role

As a DTP professional, you will support our creative team in Berlin, Cologne, or Aachen with the final development and technical implementation of design projects. As a packaging specialist, you will ensure that our ideas are precise, clean, and production-ready. You are detail-oriented, can keep track of many adaptations, and know exactly what is important in final artwork. You will work independently and closely with our designers and project managers.

Responsibilities

Final artwork & adaptations: Implementation of design templates into print-ready layouts, considering format, color, and typography specifications.
Production preparation: Creation and verification of final artwork, including bleed, color profiles, technical drawings, and layer logic.
Layout optimization: Clean revision, scaling, and adjustment of existing layouts for different formats and media.
Quality assurance: Independent control for technical feasibility, print readiness, and brand-compliant representation.
Close collaboration with the team: Direct coordination with design, project management, and external production partners if necessary.

Requirements

Several years of experience in final artwork, ideally in the packaging sector.
Very proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Very good technical understanding of printing processes (offset, digital, flexo, etc.).
An eye for layout, typography, and details – and a desire to implement things precisely and with craftsmanship.
Reliable, structured, and independent way of working – even under time pressure.
Experience in handling different brand CI’s and complex layout systems.
