About the Role
As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics-ready datasets. You will partner closely with analytics, IT, and business teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and accessible data solutions that support reporting and advanced analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to support scalable data processing and integration across systems.
- Integrate data from internal and external sources while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability.
- Develop and maintain logical and physical data models, including analytics-ready data layers for reporting and insights.
- Deliver clean, reliable datasets that enable self-service analytics and support business intelligence tools.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
- Support data governance initiatives, including metadata management, lineage, and compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Optimize data pipelines, queries, and storage solutions to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, provide enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling concepts and techniques.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling).
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Spark, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
